About MWS Fellowship on the Greens
This annual event was first held in 1989 and pioneered by former Senior Minister of State, the late Dr Tay Eng Soon, and the late Mr Edwin Chan. It remains one of the significant fundraising events for Methodist Welfare Services (MWS). Besides raising funds for the less fortunate in our community and raising awareness of MWS causes, the event has brought together thousands from the Methodist community to play, learn and share over the last 35 years. In the past 5 years alone, MWS’ charities and beneficiaries have been blessed and critically supported by over $2 million donated through this event.

How your support makes a positive impact
MWS offers comprehensive care to more than 11,000 individuals and families, regardless of race or religion. The fund raised through this event will go towards MWS Nursing Homes, including the upcoming MWS Nursing Home in Eunos. Co-located with MWS Senior Care Centre and the Eunos Polyclinic operated by SingHealth, the third Nursing Home will be operational in 2025 with a capacity for up to 171 residents.
All donations raised will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Government’s Community Silver Trust. Your donation is also eligible for 2.5 times tax deduction, subject to prevailing IRAS guidelines.
