Love is at the heart of our services for over 11,000 families and individuals in need. If Love can be expressed in colours, for MWS, it is in hues of gold, green, orange, purple and blue which represent 5 IMPACT AREAS: The Chronically Ill, Frail and Destitute, Families Experiencing Distress, Seniors Who are Socially Isolated, Youth At Risk, and Children from Disadvantaged Backgrounds. It is through serving that we demonstrate the love of God, and give hope, grace, strength, warmth and care to where they are most needed.    

Thanks to almost 300 guests who turned up to support MWS Charity Gala 2024 – Colours of Love at The St. Regis Singapore on 22 March 2024. More than $710,000 was raised for three MWS Nursing Homes, including the upcoming MWS Nursing Home – Eunos, which is slated to open in 2025. The MWS Nursing Homes provide residential, medical, nursing and spiritual care for the chronically ill and frail from mainly low-income families. Donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Government’s Community Silver Trust, doubling the impact of givers. 

Guests were served a 4-course gourmet dinner and entertained by collaborative performances which brought together artistes and seniors from MWS Active Ageing Centres. The finale performance by Jack & Rai and MWS CEO, Mr Calvin Ngo, who accompanied the performance on bass and even featured a special guest appearance by emcee, Mr Steven Chia ended the night on a high note.
